Note: One of the
biggest keys to designing your new
BentGrass putting
green is to keep in mind that you can
split the putting green materials to
accomplish "L" shapes and offset shapes.

Created
Equal:
Professional golfers throughout the PGA
and LPGA have traditionally chosen the old sand filled straight
bladed polypropylene practice putting greens over nylon because
of its ability to absorb an approach shot from quite a distance.
These greens would take 7 to 10lbs. per square foot of sand on
top of them. They also needed to be brushed and rolled quite
often to maintain a putting surface.

SPEED UP: To speed
up your new golf putting green, simply roll it a few
times with a heavy sod roller.
SLOW DOWN:
To slow the
speed down, you will simply need to tease your new
BentGrass practice putting green with a coarse push
broom.
